Native to Bakersfield, Carrie received her Bachelor's in Biology from UC Davis with the intention of attending medical school. While working at Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer Center in Long Beach, she fell in love with the nursing profession and changed her course. After receiving her BSN at CSUB, she worked as a Labor and Delivery RN at Mercy Southwest. Her ultimate goal was to become an FNP, so she returned to CSUB for her MSN, graduating in 2016. While her initial clinical experience was in the Central Valley, her desire to serve her community brought her to Clinica Sierra Vista. She enjoys seeing patients and working as team to improve their overall health.
