About David
I am originally from Bakersfield and attended Stockdale High: Go Mustangs! Fitness has been the foundation of my well-being which include swimming and weight training. I attended a historically black college/university called Xavier University of Louisiana, which is located right in the heart of New Orleans, LA. I attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and strengthened my passions in mentorship, leadership and community service. I gravitated towards Family Medicine because of its mission to provide care in underserved communities and foster diversity in medicine. I completed my Family Medicine residency at the University of California San Diego. During my free time, I love spending time with family, wife, and traveling.
Fun Fact: I love music and have a large catalogue on Spotify. I play saxophone and dabble a little bit in music production. Also enjoy Latin dancing including Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue.
