Dental Assistant

Responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the dentist, in order to coordinate patient care.

Requirements - high school diploma, two years of experience in a similar job capacity, willingness to learn dental assisting, possession of State Radiological Certification (unless trainee) and preferably bilingual (English/Spanish).

Laboratory Assistant

Responsible for insuring the smooth, accurate and timely processing of the procedures performed in the lab.

Requirements - high school diploma and phlebotomy certificate.

Licensed Vocational Nurse

Essential part of the health care team which is devoted to the delivery of excellent primary care, emphasizing the prevention of disease; under the direct supervision of the Medical Director, Staff Physician or R.N. Supervisor.

Requirements - graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing, current licensure with the California State Board of Vocational Nursing Examiners, two years of nursing experience and bilingual ability (English/Spanish).

Medical Assistant

Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the registered nurse and/or provider.

Requirements - must demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills in the care of infants, children and adults, must possess a willingness to work well with other health care providers, commitment to the concept of preventative medicine and to the team approach to health care delivery, and ability to learn about patients and their problems.

Pharmacy Technician

Works under the supervision of the Pharmacist, aides in the efficient operation of the pharmacy and helps the Pharmacist in educating patients on the proper use of medications.

Requirements - high school diploma or the equivalent, current Pharmacy Technician License, one year of experience in a clerical setting and preferably bilingual (English/Spanish).

X-Ray / Ultrasound Technician

Responsible for the performance of all radio-examinations, serves as a consultant to the health care team.

Requirements - high school diploma, current CRT licensure with the State of California, must type approximately 40 wpm, must have knowledge of medical office procedures and bilingual (English/Spanish) ability is preferred.
