Adult Services
Adult Behavioral Health Services provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, co-occurring capable and specialty mental health services, as well as comprehensive case management services to individuals and families with specialty mental health co-occurring need. Our program serves adults, age 18 and up, who have acute or severe and chronic behavioral health issues as well as those who have experienced significant impairment in one or more areas of life functioning due to a mental illness or co-occurring disorder.
Our target population is adults living in the communities of Arvin, Delano, DiGiorgio, Frazier Park, Lamont, McFarland or Weedpatch. The Delano site also provides specific substance abuse services for voluntary and court-ordered individuals seeking relapse prevention and other non-detox addiction services, but who do not have a qualifying mental health diagnosis. In addition, evidenced-based models of treatment, including a co-located Matrix model program is available in Delano. The Delano Community Health Center also offers a conduit to specialty care through an integrated behavioral health program, in which behavioral health and CHC staff work together to coordinate the medical, addiction and mental health needs of clinic patients.
