About Juan

I was born and raised in Morelia, Mexico. I attended Medical School in Guadalajara, Mexico, and then moved to the US to continue my training. I love to write, as well as art, nature and travelling. I have been happily married for one year!

Medical Interests Special Clinical Interests: I have a personal interest in the humanistic aspect of illness, suffering and death commonly seen in patients at the end-of-life. Bioethics, narrative medicine.
